About Dr Ahmed
Dr Ahmed El Muntasar is an NHS GP and award-winning aesthetic doctor, recognised as one of the UK’s leading voices in modern, medically led aesthetic medicine.
With a background firmly rooted in hospital medicine and general practice, Dr Ahmed’s approach to aesthetics is defined by clinical rigour, ethics, and long-term patient wellbeing, rather than trends or quick fixes.
Dr Ahmed made history as the youngest medical student ever admitted to the University of St Andrews at just 16. He later completed his medical degree in Manchester, followed by a Master’s in Medical Leadership at University College London. This exceptional academic foundation underpins his reputation for considered decision-making, meticulous assessment, and results that prioritise skin health, balance, and longevity.
Alongside his ongoing work as an NHS GP, Dr Ahmed founded The Aesthetics Doctor, a practice built on medical governance, safety, and personalised care. His dual clinical perspective allows him to treat patients holistically, carefully assessing both physical and psychological suitability before any procedure, ensuring outcomes remain natural, refined, and sustainable over time.
His expertise has been featured in Forbes, Tatler, Vogue, and Glamour, and he has appeared on Good Morning Britain, Sky News, and ITV, contributing expert commentary on aesthetic medicine and patient safety.
At the heart of Dr Ahmed’s work is a belief that aesthetic medicine should be medically led, ethically delivered, and deeply personalised, a philosophy that has earned the trust of patients, peers, and press alike.
